Training Program in Laboratory Animal Medicine

The Division of Animal Resources is pleased to announce the approval of the Training Program in Laboratory Animal Medicine (TPLAM) by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM).

The trainees are postdoctoral research associates (PRAs) and will receive 200 hours of didactic seminars and 2,000 hours of clinical instruction during the three-year program. Additionally, they will complete an original, hypothesis-driven research study and publish a first-author manuscript in a peer-reviewed journal. The PRA is eligible to take the ACLAM Board Exam after completion of the training program and publication of the research.
